A security group acts as a virtual firewall for your instance to control inbound and outbound traffic.

You can assign up to five security groups to the virtual network. When you launch a Fleet Manager instance, the security groups of the associated virtual network will be assigned to the AWS provisioned instance.

If you don't specify a security group, AWS provisioned instances are automatically assigned to the default security group for the VPC.
